business to business debt collection.
If I send a debt collector to collect a business debt and he charges say
2.5% for his services - am I entitled to charge this to the client or do I
have to pay it?
does it make a different what my terms and conditions say or is there a law
that affects this.

It depends on many points
1) your terms
2) the debtors terms
How the contract was formed (who offered what etc)
Generally unless specifically catered for you can nt charge for
collection of unpaid debts until the debt has been through the legal
system and proved , then you can only recover court costs interest ,
solictors fees and bailiffs fees if its small claims your right to
claim costs is further resticted
